A package can combine services across stages. Your quote lists what is included, the number of visits or hours where relevant, and how additional work is priced.
Consultations, tests, medicines, procedures, implants, ward charges and clinical follow-up. We request an estimate from the receiving institution.
The coordination, record preparation, translation and practical support in your agreement. These are shown separately from medical bills.
Flights, visa costs, accommodation, transport and a companion’s expenses. You can book these yourself or ask us to coordinate them.
When comparing an overseas quote, we compare the same procedure and inclusions. A headline surgery price is not the same as the total cost of a stay.
TIME AWAY FROM HOME
| Care pathway | Useful reference | What we clarify for your visit |
|---|---|---|
| CAR-T | NCI describes about 3–5 weeks from cell collection to infusion. This is a general process reference, not the total stay. | Assessment, manufacturing, any interim care, admission and required monitoring near the hospital. |
| Lumbar decompression | NHS describes discharge after around 2–5 days for some patients. Complex revision is a different pathway. | Ward recovery, mobility, follow-up and fitness for a long-distance journey. |
| Joint revision | AAOS describes more extensive planning than for a first replacement; infection may require staged treatment. | Number of procedures, rehabilitation, assistance and review appointments. |
| Health assessment | The agreed test list determines appointment and reporting time. | Preparation, results review and time for any further investigations. |
These published clinical references describe different settings. Your Chinese hospital provides the case-specific schedule; a discharge date is not a flight clearance.
